La vida son sueños, retos, y a las 17 años en el instituto, nos jugamos a cara y cruz con Fran de la Mata quien tocaba el trombón o la trompeta en la banda Discípulos de Otilia. En esos años hacíamos miles de kilómetros para ver a nuestra banda fetiche, aquella que desde la platea decías “ Yo quiero tener una banda de Reggae yo quiero un POTATO en mi vida”, cantábamos sus canciones eternas y años más tarde, compartimos escenario decenas de veces, que maravilla, unos camerinos llenos de risas, camaradería, humo, y sin egos ni humos… recuerdo la gira que hicimos en verano en las playas del país valenciano.. que regalo.. cada madrugada cuando el conductor del autobús nos llevaba al hotel, montábamos en el pasillo una charanga y caminábamos cantando “ tarifari pich pum!”…..años de auténtico rock and roll.. donde ir a Vitoria era ir a casa.

“Ruta al Paraíso” me ha dado el regalo eterno de poder cantar con POTATO una canción escrita a expreso para este disco, Viva las sueños! viva pelear los sueños! Viva Potato! y viva tu y yo!
